January 2017- Hey guys! Happy New Year! I hope everyone had fun over thus holiday season!! I didn't write last month and I'm soo sorry but, you know, this is busy time of year 😂. Now, I always say "Everything happens for a reason," and I believe there is definitely a reason I was too busy to write on this blog besides it being the holidays. During these 2 months I have learned a ton about knowing your worth.
Between church and different experiences, I'm gaining a clearer picture of what it means to value oneself- and who better to share it with than y'all! So, I'm only going to talk about one topic today and that will be knowing who you are.

August 2018- Hello, everyone I kept that introduction because I feel like that is great place to start to continue this series in my blog. In my (very) long absence I have grown and matured so much and I feel as if I am wayyy better equipped to give you guys the wisdom that I was trying to last year.
Now, as I was starting to say, knowing yourself is a HUGE part of knowing how to set your price tag. But the big question is: how so I begin the journey of knowing myself?
Well, as a Christian, I believe that our purpose and identity comes from God. So, after trying to (unsuccessfully) find myself by my own means, I went to the Father. I prayed and asked him to reveal myself to me.
There were different ways that He taught me my identity through Him. He confirmed that I was His child above anything else and that He loved me. Then, once that was established, He started putting me in situations that would bring passions and skills out of me that I didn't know I possessed.
That's, of course, the shorter version of what happened but, I encourage you, if you are a Christian and even if you aren't, go to God and ask Him who You are. He will show you; it might be a long process but you will know in the end.
So, now that we know how to know ourselves, how will that help set our price tag? Well, the more you know about who you truly are, and accept the pros with the cons, you will start gaining self-esteem. That self-esteem will turn into confidence which will start to make you understand just how valuable you actually are. Until next time, stay CONFIDENT.
